For: Enchanted Life Ltd trading as Enchanted Life by Maia

updated: 9 May 2026

This is a working draft for your website. It is written for a UK-based limited company offering spiritual/embodiment services, in-person events, online services, and a physical cosmetic product. It should be reviewed by a qualified solicitor before publication, especially because you now sell a physical cosmetic product.

3. Our services are not medical or therapeutic treatment

Our work is rooted in spiritual education, embodiment, self-inquiry, somatic awareness, energy work, and personal development.

Our services, ceremonies, workshops, products, digital materials, and communications are not a substitute for medical care, therapy, psychiatric support, diagnosis, treatment, or professional healthcare advice.

We do not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical, psychological, or physical condition.

You are responsible for your own wellbeing and for deciding whether a service, ceremony, workshop, practice, or product is suitable for you. If you are pregnant, recently post-surgery, managing a serious physical or mental health condition, taking medication, or unsure whether a practice is suitable for you, please seek advice from a qualified healthcare professional before booking or participating.

You agree to listen to your body, practise within your own limits, and stop immediately if you feel unsafe, unwell, overwhelmed, or in pain.

4. Booking services, sessions, mentorship, and online programmes

4.1 Booking and payment

Your booking is confirmed when payment has been received or when we send written confirmation by email, booking system, or message.

For some services, payment may be taken through a third-party payment provider. We are not responsible for delays, errors, or technical issues caused by third-party platforms, although we will do our best to help resolve any issue.

4.2 Accuracy of information

You agree to provide accurate and complete information when booking. This includes your name, email address, contact details, and any information reasonably needed for the service.

If your contact details change, please let us know as soon as possible so we can send confirmations, updates, reminders, or access details.

4.3 Rescheduling 1:1 sessions

For 1:1 sessions, you may request to reschedule by giving at least 48 hours’ notice, unless the relevant booking page states otherwise.

If you give less than 48 hours’ notice, miss your session, or arrive too late for the session to take place properly, the session may be treated as used and no refund will be due.

We understand life happens. At our discretion, we may offer one goodwill reschedule where appropriate, but this is not guaranteed.

4.4 Mentorships and multi-session containers

For mentorships, programmes, or multi-session containers, the payment terms, session structure, access period, and any included support will be set out on the relevant sales page or written agreement.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing:

unused sessions are not exchangeable for cash

sessions must be used within the agreed container period

missed sessions may not be carried forward

voice note, message, or community support is only available during the active container period

you are responsible for showing up, participating, and implementing the guidance offered

4.5 Results and outcomes

We deeply believe in the power of this work, but we cannot guarantee specific emotional, spiritual, physical, financial, business, relationship, or life outcomes.

Your results depend on many factors, including your personal circumstances, readiness, participation, integration, choices, support systems, and consistency.

Testimonials, stories, or examples shared on this website are individual experiences and are not guarantees that you will experience the same result.

5. In-person events, workshops, ceremonies, and classes

5.1 Event details

Each event page will show the key details of the event, including the date, time, location, price, duration, and what is included.

Please check the event details carefully before booking. It is your responsibility to attend the correct location at the correct time.

5.2 Suitability and participation

Our in-person events may include somatic movement, conscious dance, breath, meditation, energy activation, emotional release, group sharing, music, or periods of deep rest.

You are responsible for deciding whether the event is suitable for you. You agree to participate at your own pace and within your own physical, emotional, and energetic capacity.

You must not attend under the influence of alcohol or recreational drugs.

We reserve the right to refuse entry or ask someone to leave if we reasonably believe their behaviour is unsafe, disruptive, disrespectful, or not aligned with the space being held. In this situation, no refund will be due.

5.3 Event tickets and cancellation by you

Tickets for in-person events, workshops, ceremonies, and classes are usually for a specific date and time.

Unless the event page states otherwise, event tickets are non-refundable if you cancel, cannot attend, change your mind, arrive late, or do not attend.

Where possible, and always at our discretion, we may allow you to transfer your ticket to another person, transfer your booking to a future date, or offer another goodwill solution if you tell us in writing at least 48 hours before the event. The replacement attendee must agree to these Terms and any event-specific requirements.

Any event transfer, credit, cancellation allowance, or goodwill refund is discretionary unless required by law or clearly stated on the event page. We do not guarantee transfers, credits, or refunds for customer cancellations, late arrivals, no-shows, illness, travel disruption, change of mind, or personal circumstances.

5.4 Cancellation or changes by us

If we cancel an event, you will be offered either:

a full refund; or

a transfer to a rescheduled or alternative event, where available.

If we need to make a significant change to the date, time, location, or core nature of the event, we will contact you as soon as reasonably possible.

We are not responsible for your travel, accommodation, childcare, lost income, or other personal costs connected to attending an event, unless required by law.

5.5 Photography and content at events

We may take photographs or short video clips at some events for marketing, social media, or educational purposes. We will aim to do this respectfully and with consent.

If you do not want to be photographed or filmed, please tell us before the event begins.

You must not record, photograph, or share other participants without their consent.

6. Physical products

6.1 Product descriptions

We do our best to describe our physical products accurately, including ingredients, size, usage instructions, scent profile, and intended use.

However, colours, packaging, and appearance may vary slightly from the images shown on the website due to lighting, photography, screen settings, small-batch production, and natural ingredient variation.

6.2 Shakti Goddess Hair Serum

Shakti Goddess Hair Serum is a cosmetic hair product intended for external use only.

Unless otherwise stated on the product page or label, it is designed to be applied to the mid-lengths and ends of the hair, not the scalp.

You agree to follow all usage instructions provided on the product page, label, packaging, or accompanying materials.

Please avoid contact with eyes. Keep out of reach of children and pets. Do not ingest. Do not use on broken or irritated skin. Discontinue use immediately if irritation occurs.

If you have allergies, sensitivities, are pregnant, breastfeeding, or have a medical condition, please review the ingredients carefully and seek professional advice before use.

6.3 Natural ingredients and sensitivities

Natural ingredients and essential oils can still cause sensitivities or allergic reactions in some people.

You are responsible for checking the ingredients before purchase and before use.

We recommend carrying out a small patch test before first use, especially if you are sensitive to botanical oils, essential oils, fragrances, or cosmetic products.

6.4 Cosmetic product compliance

We aim to ensure that all physical cosmetic products we place on the UK market comply with applicable UK cosmetic product requirements.

Product labels, ingredients, usage instructions, batch information, responsible person details, and safety information should always be read before use.

7. Orders, pre-orders, and delivery

7.1 Placing an order

When you place an order, you are offering to buy the product from us. Your order is accepted when we send you an order confirmation or dispatch confirmation.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order if:

the product is unavailable

there has been an error in the price or product description

we suspect fraud or misuse

your payment is not authorised

we are unable to deliver to your address

If we cancel an order after payment has been taken, we will refund you.

7.2 Pre-orders

If a product is available for pre-order, the product page will state the expected shipping date or timeframe.

Shipping dates for pre-orders are estimates and may change due to production, ingredient supply, packaging, courier delays, or other circumstances beyond our control.

If there is a significant delay, we will contact you. You may have the right to cancel if we cannot fulfil the order within the agreed timeframe.

7.3 Delivery

Delivery options, costs, and estimated timeframes will be shown at checkout or on the product page.

Please make sure your delivery address is accurate. We are not responsible for failed delivery caused by incorrect or incomplete address details provided by you.

Unless otherwise agreed with you, we will aim to deliver goods within 30 days of accepting your order.

Risk in the product passes to you when the product is delivered to you or to someone identified by you to receive it.

8. Returns, refunds, and consumer cancellation rights

Your statutory rights are not affected by these Terms.

8.1 Faulty, damaged, or incorrect products

If your product arrives faulty, damaged, or incorrect, please contact us as soon as possible at [email protected] with:

your order number

your name and contact details

a clear description of the issue

photos of the product, packaging, and any damage where relevant

If the product is faulty, damaged, or not as described, you may be entitled to a refund, repair, replacement, or other remedy under UK consumer law.

8.2 Change-of-mind returns for online product orders

If you buy a physical product online, you usually have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving it, without giving a reason.

After telling us you want to cancel, you then have a further 14 days to return the product to us.

To cancel, email us at [email protected] with your name, order number, product details, and a clear statement that you wish to cancel.

8.3 Hygiene and sealed products

For hygiene and safety reasons, we cannot accept change-of-mind returns for sealed cosmetic products if they have been opened, unsealed, used, damaged, or tampered with after delivery, unless the product is faulty.

This is especially relevant to products such as hair serum, oils, skincare, body care, or other cosmetic products where return would be unsuitable for hygiene or safety reasons once opened.

8.4 Condition of returned products

Returned products must be unused, unopened, in their original packaging, and in a resaleable condition, unless they are faulty.

You are responsible for taking reasonable care of the product while it is in your possession.

If a returned product has been handled beyond what is necessary to inspect it, and this reduces its value, we may reduce the refund to reflect the loss in value, where permitted by law.

8.5 Return postage

Unless the product is faulty, damaged, or incorrect, you are responsible for the cost of returning the product to us.

Please do not return a product before we have accepted the return request. Once a return has been accepted, the return address will be provided in the email confirmation of the accepted return.

We recommend using a tracked postage service, as we cannot refund items we do not receive.

8.6 Refund timing

Where a refund is due, we will process it using the original payment method unless otherwise agreed.

For returned goods, we may wait until we have received the goods back or received evidence that you have sent them back before issuing the refund.

9. Digital content, recordings, and downloadable resources

We may offer digital resources, recordings, guides, workbooks, online materials, or other downloadable content.

Where digital content is supplied immediately, you may be asked to confirm that you want access before the end of the usual cancellation period and that you understand you may lose your right to cancel once access begins.

Digital content is for your personal use only. You must not copy, share, resell, distribute, teach from, upload, reproduce, or commercially exploit our digital materials without our written permission.

10. Prices, payment, discounts, and promotions

Prices are shown in pounds sterling unless otherwise stated.

We reserve the right to change prices at any time, but changes will not affect orders or bookings already confirmed.

Discounts, early-bird prices, launch specials, payment plans, bonuses, and promotional offers are offered at our discretion and may be changed, extended, withdrawn, or limited at any time.

If you use a payment plan, you agree to make all payments on time. Payment plans are not subscriptions unless clearly stated. They are a commitment to pay the full agreed price in instalments.

If a payment fails, we may pause access to services, sessions, materials, communities, or future bookings until the payment is brought up to date.

11. Intellectual property

All content on this website and within our services, events, programmes, products, materials, recordings, workbooks, meditations, practices, frameworks, written content, images, branding, and designs belongs to us or is used with permission.

You may use our materials for your own personal, non-commercial use only.

You must not copy, reproduce, sell, share, teach, distribute, adapt, or use our content for commercial purposes without our written permission.

12. Community spaces and respectful conduct

If you join a group programme, community, event, WhatsApp group, online space, or live container, you agree to behave respectfully and responsibly.

You agree not to:

harass, shame, threaten, or abuse others

share another participant’s personal information

record or screenshot private conversations without consent

promote unrelated services, products, or offers without permission

disrupt the space or behave in a way that compromises the safety of the group

We reserve the right to remove you from a community, group, event, or programme if your behaviour is unsafe, harmful, or disruptive. In this situation, no refund will be due unless required by law.

13. Testimonials and feedback

If you send us feedback, reviews, testimonials, screenshots, or comments, we may ask for your permission to share them for marketing or educational purposes.

We will not intentionally share sensitive personal information without your consent.

You can withdraw permission for future use by contacting us, although we may not be able to remove content that has already been printed, published, or shared by third parties.

14. Privacy and personal data

We collect and use personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Please read our Privacy Policy here: https://enchantedlifebymaia.com/privacy-policy

If you purchase a product, book a service, attend an event, join a programme, subscribe to emails, or contact us, we may collect personal information such as your name, email address, phone number, payment details, booking details, delivery address, and any information you choose to share with us.

Where relevant, we may share limited information with trusted service providers, such as payment processors, booking systems, email platforms, delivery providers, website hosts, or professional advisers.

15. Limitation of liability

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or breach of your statutory rights.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for:

indirect, incidental, or consequential loss

loss of income, profit, opportunity, business, or goodwill

emotional, spiritual, energetic, physical, business, or personal outcomes that differ from your expectations

issues caused by misuse of products or failure to follow instructions

technical problems caused by third-party platforms

delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control

Our total liability to you for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid for the product, service, event, or programme giving rise to the claim, unless the law requires otherwise.

16. Events outside our control

We are not responsible for delays, cancellations, or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control, including illness, emergency, transport disruption, venue issues, extreme weather, strikes, supply chain delays, courier disruption, technical failure, power outages, government restrictions, or other unexpected circumstances.

Where this affects a booking, event, order, or service, we will contact you as soon as reasonably possible and do our best to offer a fair solution.

17. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our business, services, products, legal obligations, or website.

The latest version will be posted on this page with the updated date.

The Terms in force at the time of your booking or purchase will usually apply to that booking or purchase, unless a change is required by law.

18. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

If a dispute arises, you agree to contact us first so we can try to resolve it informally.

If we cannot resolve the dispute, the courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction, unless you live in another part of the UK and are entitled to bring proceedings there under consumer law.
